Soya 791 has achieved high yields from the Macquarie Valley in Central NSW through to Central Queensland. A unique feature as most soybean varieties are not as adaptable.

Best yields have been recorded dryland on the Northern Rivers region of NSW with yields in excess of 2 tonnes per acre. Irrigation yields from all areas have been in excess of 1.5 tonnes per acre.

Soya 791 has high levels of disease resistance especially Phytophthora Root Rot and can be grown on all soil types. Soya 791 is a buff hilum colour, making it suitable for the human consumption as well as the oil market. Optimum planting times will vary from area to area, however Soya 791 yields best when planted between the middle of November till Christmas.

  • Excellent emergence and vigour.
  • Consistent yielder.

  • Buff hilum coloured beans.
  • Suits Soya milk, oil crushers and is being tested for other human consumption markets.
  • Erect plant, making harvesting easier.
  • Rapid leaf drop and quick drydown, allows harvest more than a week earlier than other beans of the same maturity.
  • Above average weathering ability.
