BULK STORAGE SIGNS – A Bulk Storage Sign must be displayed on or adjacent to a tank or area where bulk dangerous goods of a single class are stored.

Storage in Bulk means storage of:
  • Class 2 in a container having a capacity greater than 500 litres.
  • Other than Class 2 in liquid or paste in a container of a capacity greater than 250 litres.
  • In the form of solids in an undivided quantity greater than 400kg.
OUTER WARNING SIGNS – An outer Warning Sign shall prominently displayed at every entrance to a workplace, from the road for vehicles and at every entrance for rail vehicles.

COMPOSITE WARNING SIGNS – Where single or multiple classes of dangerous goods are stored in packages. A Composite Warning Sign should be displayed:

  • At every main point of entry to any building or place where dangerous goods are stored.
  • At every point of entry to a room or compartment within a building or place where dangerous goods are stored.
  • Adjacent to any outdoor area where dangerous goods are stored.
In accordance with Queensland Regulations - Class label to be 100mm square with a maximum of 5 labels per sign.

  • Folds to less than 25mm thick
