GALMET COLD GALVANIZING

An organic zinc-rich coating that provides long term protection to steel against rust and corrosion. This is due to the cathodic (galvanic) action between the steel and the metallic zinc in the coating. This action prevents rust from developing under Cold Galvanising.

IRONIZE

A fast reacting rust converters & sealer, which can be applied directly to a rusty surface. Ironize reacts with rust to form a chelate compound which binds to the surface. To fully protect the metal substrate, apply Keytite Steel Primer followed by Rustpaint within 3 months of surface preparation with Ironize.

INDUSTRIAL PRIMER
GOAC/ROAC

A fast dry, anti-corrosive primer formulated for use by structural steel fabricators for use on all types of steelwork exposed to mild conditions. Industrial Primer is an excellent base for enamels and may be overcoated with any turps-based paint.

KEYTITE STEEL PRIMER

A slow drying, single pack alkyd primer designed to penetrate lightly rusted surfaces. It’s anti-corrosive pigments passivate metal surfaces to provide good adhesion prior to the application of a top coat, as well as combining superior steel wetting and flow characteristics for easy application with brush or roller. Surface can be topcoated with Galmet Fence Gutter Fascia Touchup Paint, Rustpaint, Hammered Metal Finish or Spraypaint.

KEYTITE ETCH PRIMER

A single pack epoxy etch primer designed to etch and passivate ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It offers excellent adhesion and barrier properties over Cold Galvanising and other zinc coatings prior to applying a topcoat with Galmet Fence Gutter Fascia Touchup Paint, Rustpaint, Hammered Metal Finish or Spraypaint. When brushing over Cold Galvanising, apply in one brush stroke – do not overbrush.

HAMMERED METAL FINISH

A single pack gloss enamel which, as it dries, produces a dimples, metallised coating. The dry coating simulates the effect of sheet metal hammered with a ball-peen hammer. It protects and beautifies, especially rough or damaged surfaces.
