Potassium Hydroxide Flakes

For the manufacture of DIY liquid solutions

Concentrated potassium hydroxide in a flake form, which can be readily dissolved in water. The hydroxide can be used to raise pH in fertiliser mixes and the potassium becomes a valuable nutrient input (as opposed to Sodium Hydroxide, which results in sodium accumulation).

Packaging.

  • 25kg bags. Requires Dangerous Goods Declaration for transportation. Dangerous Goods cannot be sent with Australia Post.

Information:

  • Can be used in the manufacture of phosphonic acid liquid
  • To raise the pH of fertiliser mixtures (if compatible)
  • To neutralise phosphonic acid As a source of soluble potassium.

Application Rates:

  • Mixing should not be undertaken unless equipped with a pH meter and safety equipment. Note: Some mixtures can be explosive.
  • Refer to Phos Tech™ data for recommended application rates of phosphorus acid.
    Note: Potassium hydroxide is a highly corrosive alkali and should be stored/treated accordingly.

  • Requires careful handling in the concentrated form.
