Phos-Tech is a foliar fertiliser following new research supporting the efficacy of potassium-neutralised phosphorous acid as a nutrition aid.

Information:

• pH-neutralised phosphorous acid and potassium can help to size up fruit when used as a foliar spray.
• Potassium governs stem strength and calibre (thickness). It plays a major role in determining the number of fruit that are set and the subsequent size of the fruit.
• Potassium regulates opening and closing of stomata and is an essential element for the production of starch, sugar and oil. Potassium increases the yield of tubers and seed crops.
• Phosphorous acid is not an immediately available source of phosphate, but is slowly converted to a useable form and recent U.S. research suggests that it can be as effective as phosphate when used as a foliar fertiliser.

Application Rates:

• Dilution: 1:100 for all crops and apply with sufficient water for good coverage, ie 250 litres of water per hectare for small crops and up to 1000 litres of water per hectare for tree crops.
