Nutri-Store 180™

Nutri-Store 180 is a proven of carbon and phosphate through input in the ginger industry.

A microbe-rich, high-carbon, composted fertiliser addressing the carbon depletion too common in contemporary agriculture

Nutri-Store 180 involves a world-first, patented process whereby bituminous coal is converted into organic carbon, the element most lacking in conventional agriculture. This new generation fertiliser also includes colloidal phosphate, fish protein, cow manure and a secret vitamin and mineral formula. Nutri-Store 180 has been a highly successful base for Nutri-Tech Prescription Blends since 1995.

Packaging.

  • 30kg bags, 1-tonne pallets of 30kg bags, 1-tonne bags, bulk (loose) in truckloads, per kg in prescription blends.

Information:

  • Nutri-Store 180 has a high cation exchange capacity (CEC) of over 180. The associated nutrient and moisture storage capacity is invaluable, particularly in light soils.
  • Part of the Nutri-Store 180 response is based on the complexing the composting process. The resulting carbon/phosphate bond provides a building block for maximum utilisation of all elements.
  • Organic carbon has a detoxifying capacity that can help counter the excesses of modern agriculture.
  • Organic carbon can provide a buffering function, which is particularly valuable in unbalanced soils.
  • This composted fertiliser is a microbial inoculum where the beneficial microbes are delivered in a carbon home base.
  • There is also a fully organic version of NS 180 now available.

Application Rates:

  • Field Crops and Small Crops:
100 kg to 2.5 tonnes per hectare, spread at pre-plant or banded during the season.
  • Orchard and Tree Crops:
    Spread 1 - 2.5 tonnes per hectare.

Note:

  • A National Bank-sponsored research program conducted by the CSIRO identified organic carbon (along with calcium and phosphorus) as the elements most closely related to financial success in the growing enterprise. Researchers actually placed a dollar value on higher productivity and land value increases resulting from 0.2% increments in organic carbon.
  • There is much that is not understood about the role of trace elements in plant growth. There are many more elements required than those usually measured in soil tests. Nutri-Store 180 includes all of them.
