Nutri-Key Boron Shuttle™

The relationship between boron and pollen viability is so intimate that all crops should receive a foliar application of boron prior to flowering.

Boron is the most leachable of all trace elements and consequently deficits are common. Boron is required as a calcium synergist and is very important in the early reproductive period of the crop cycle. Boron Shuttle™ offers chelated boron in a balanced formulation which covers the full spectrum of 'background nutrition'.

Packaging.

  • 1 litre (1.29kg), 5 litres (6.3kg), 20 litres (25.6kg), 200 litres (264kg), 1000 litres (1285kg).
    Weight per volume: 1.22

Information:

  • Boron is an anion and as such cannot be chelated. However, it can be complexed to reduce leaching and improve uptake, and this is the case in Boron Shuttle™.
  • The perfect boron foliar for a pre-bloom application in all crops.
  • Delivers all of the standard Shuttle benefits, including bio stimulation.

The Functions of Boron

  • Involved in the synthesis of cell wall components.
  • Increases calcium efficiency in the plant.
  • Involved with pollen viability and good seed set.
  • Important for good root development.
  • Influences cell development and elongation of cells through control of polysaccharide formation.
  • Boron is one of the 'Big Four' which should always be maintained at luxury levels.
