Nutri-Carb N™

Lockyer Valley capsicum growers have had tremendous results using the concept of humate-buffered urea as an amine source to stimulate the plant during the reproductive period.

Humic acid is a powerful nitrogen synergist. Nutri-Carb N is based on the proven productivity of the perfect partners - urea and humic acid.

A combination of liquid organic humates and nitrogen, which effectively addresses many of the shortcomings of nitrogen in high-production agriculture. This product is part of the NTS price-cutting campaign, ie liquid nitrogen and humic acid for around $1.50 per litre ex GST (based on 200-litre drum price).

Packaging.

  • 1 litre (1.2kg), 5 litre (5.85kg), 20 litre (23.8kg), 200 litre (246kg), 1000 litre (1195kg).
    Weight per Volume: 1.13

Information:

  • Maximum Nitrogen Utilisation - Nitrogen is held in the root-zone for up to 80 days longer than usual, resulting in maximum nitrogen utilisation and minimum leaching.
  • Prevents nitrogen-related carbon depletion as it also includes a potent carbon source.
  • Improves soil structure - liquid humates release locked up nutrients and stimulate soil micro-organisms.
  • Improves performance of other applied fertilisers- because of the humic acid component which chelates and complexes other elements and magnifies their uptake.
  • Urea has unrecognised potential as an amine-based foliar fertiliser. It can be used at quite high rates and there is no burning, as long as it is buffered by humic acid.
