Life-Lime™

44% pure calcium, without the tag-ons, can be immensely valuable when calcium is deficient (ie. in 80% of all leaf tests we analyse).

A high-analysis source of micronised calcite combined in a free-flowing suspension with fulvic acid and soil-life metabolites. Calcium is the trucker of all minerals and virtually all crops will benefit from a calcium supplement during the crop phase.

Packaging.

  • 1 litre, (1.77kg), 5 litres (8.7kg), 20 litres (35.2kg), 200 litres (360kg).
    Weight per volume: 1.7

Information:

  • 20 litres provides a soluble 'calcium kick' equivalent to 2 tonnes of limestone (based upon the fact that limestone contains less than 5 kg of soluble calcium per tonne).
  • Enhances crop quality.
  • More cost-effective, per unit of soluble calcium than calcium nitrate. More convenient than limestone.
  • A 'fast food' source of calcium.
  • Also contains biological metabolites derived from: Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, Azotobacter vinelandii, Pseudomonas flourescens, Pseudomonas putida, Rhizobium japonicum, Pseudomonas stutzeri, Rhizobium leguminosarum, Streptomyces albidoflavus, Streptomyces cellulosae, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Chaetomium globosum, and Trichoderma lignorum.
  • Life-Lime™ promotes the precision required to build calcium. Calcium is 'The Trucker' of nutrients and is one of The Big Four' elements - it should be maintained at luxury levels within the plant.
  • Ideal whenever a nitrogen free calcium boost is required.
  • Life-Lime™ is a 'spoon-feeding' option for light, sandy soils with poor retention of calcium.
  • Well suited to soils with excessive magnesium or potassium.
  • Necessary in high-production horticulture where nitrogen and potassium reduce the performance of calcium regardless of soil test levels.
  • BFA certified organic.

Application Rates:

  • Foliar.
    Broadacre: 2 - 5 litres per hectare.
    Horticulture: 3 - 10 litres per hectare.
  • Fertigation or Boomspray onto the soil. 10 - 30 litres per hectare.
  • Liquid injection at planting: 5 - 10 litres per hectare
  • Dilution Rate: A minimum of 1:50

Note:

  • Shake or stir well before use. Spray tank will require constant agitation to prevent solids from settling out.
  • MMS products involve tiny 5 micron particles which are far too small in themselves to clog filters. However, if they are inadequately diluted or agitated before application, there is a possibility of problems with spray equipment. MMS products should be slowly applied to the spray tank to avoid problems.
  • MMS products are very heavy and every care should be taken when handling these materials to avoid back injury.
  • MMS products will leave a visible residue on leaves and fruit when used as a foliar. Soil applications may be preferable if this residue is commercially inappropriate.
  • Compatible with most other liquid fertilisers
