This blend provides three microbe-supportive, natural
fertilisers, which serve as a home base and breeding medium for an inoculum
of task specific microbes. Soft rock phosphate, Nutri-Mate Organic Humates
and paramagnetic basalt are combined prior to an inoculation of Nutri-Life
4/20 (a blend of beneficial microbes).
The synergy between these four components
involves the following:
- The insoluble calcium, phosphate
and trace elements in soft rock phosphate and the water-retaining clay
that this material comprises, act as a food and home base for the microbes,
which, in turn, solubilise the phosphate component.
- The 68% organic
carbon in the humates also houses the beneficial's, which solubilise
the insoluble humic acid found in the humates.
- Finally, the paramagnetism
of the basalt facilitates more vigorous cell division of microbes,
which, in turn, solubilise the insoluble minerals in the basalt.
The end result in a living fertiliser, which has proven tremendously
effective in the field. The Life-Force™ blend can
be supplied in its component parts for the manufacture of an inexpensive
DIY fertiliser, or it can be supplied in a pre-blended form.
Benefits:
- Improves soil structure.
- Increases beneficial soil life activity.
- Builds organic carbon levels.
- Improves biological balance with all of the associated benefits.
- Improves yield and crop quality.
Packaging:
- The
components are sold individually in bulk for DIY blending. The
pre-mixed LIfe-Force™ Blend is sold in
40kg bags, 1 tonne bags and bulk (loose) by the truckload.
Typical Analysis:
- Phosphate
- 3.3%, Calcium - 7%, Organic Carbon - 22% and 60+ broad-spectrum
micro-nutrients. Contains microorganisms including Bacillus subtilis,
Bacillus megaterium, Azotobacter vinelandii, Pseudomonas fluorescens,
Pseudomonas putida, Rhizobium japonicum, Pseudomonas stutzeri, Rhizobium
leguminosarum, Streptomyces albidoflavus, Streptomyces cellulosae,
Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Chaetomium globosum, Trichoderma lignorum
and Trichoderma harzianum.
Application Rates:
Broadacre:
Horticulture:
- 500kg to 1 tonne per hectare
Information:
- Total microbe counts increase markedly in the weeks following the
introduction of the brewed Nutri-Life 4/20 to the three-part dry
blend, ie. these organisms proliferate in a supportive environment.
- Fish, molasses and humic acid are productive additives for additional
microbial stimulation.
- The most successful DIY technique involves
placing the soft rock phosphate, humates and basalt in layers on
the flat ground and then pushing it up into a pile with a front-end
loader. The brewed microbes are then pumped on to the pile and
as they are worked in with the front-loader, the mixture becomes
homogenised.
