Huma-Tech Nitro-K 70™

NTS blending plant at Wondai - Nitro-K 70 is used in the majority of Personal Prescription Blends to stabilise and magnify.

An invaluable humic acid based fertiliser additive for prescription blends and nor -granu.ated fertilisers.

A soluble potassium humate powder, containing 70% humic acid (of which 16% is a combination of fulvic and ulmic acids), 10% potassium and 3% nitrogen. This product is 85% soluble, with very fine residual silt, making it unsuitable for use in liquids, but ideal as an additive to other powdered fertilisers.

Benefits:

  • Promotes soil structure improvement by stimulating fungi to create a crumb structure for better water and oxygen intake and improved root penetration.
  • Natural chelating and complexing agent to help magnify nutrient absorption.
  • Increases the permeability of cells to increase nutrient uptake by up to 40%.
  • Contains an auxin-like growth stimulant that can enhance cell division and elongation.
  • Can buffer the effects of excessive elements (particularly sodium), toxic chemicals and heavy metals.
  • pH buffering-capacity to help neutralise the problems associated with pH extremes.
  • Has a CEC of 450 and is a good water retainer.
  • Promotes seed germination in a shorter-time.
  • Has a nature which assists in soil wetting.
  • Also includes a stabilised nitrogen source.
  • Not organically certified.

  • 25kg bags, 1-tonne pallets of 25kg bags

Application Rates:

  • Soil Broadcast:
    5 - 30 kg per hectare
  • Soil Side-Dress:
    5 - 20 kg per hectare
  • Seed Treatment:
1 - 2 kg per tonne of seed
  • Application with Fertilisers:
Include at a rate of 5-10 kg per hectare with non-granular fertiliser blends (ie. NTS personal prescription blends).Include at a rate of 5% with specific fertilisers (ie. 5 kg with 100kg urea).

Information:

  • Can be used at any time for a synergistic effect when combined with fertilisers, especially soluble fertilisers.
  • Ideal as a stabilising and magnifying additive in non-granular fertiliser blends.
  • Can be applied directly to the soil at any time to help buffer excesses or toxins or to stimulate soil life, especially fungi
  • Ideal for stabilising nitrogen fertilisers, particularly urea, but also potassium nitrate and ammonium nitrate (NOT calcium nitrate).
  • Microbes need a carbon source to digest nitrogen. Humates supply carbon and thus help limit carbon stripping from the soil.
  • Can help limit phosphorus lock-ups when added to phosphate-based fertilisers.
