CalMag-Life™

Calcium and magnesium are two of `The Big Four' elements which should be maintained at luxury levels for maximum productivity.

A high-analysis source of micronised dolomite combined in a free-flowing suspension with fulvic acid and soil-life metabolites. Calcium and magnesium should both be maintained at luxury levels for the full crop cycle. Often both elements are deficient and in these instances CalMag-Life™ is the perfect tool.

Packaging.

  • 1 litre, (1.61kg), 5 litres (7.9kg), 20 litres (32kg), 200 litres (328kg).
    Weight per volume: 1.54

Information:

  • More convenient and easier to apply than conventional dolomite.
  • Plant-available within 6 days compared with the 12 months release pattern of conventional dolomite.
  • Can assist in achieving an 'ideal' calcium/magnesium ratio in the root zone.
  • Calcium is 'the trucker of all minerals'.
  • Magnesium is the 'chlorophyll key' to enhance photosynthesis.
  • Slow-releases over two weeks when used as a foliar.
  • Also contains biological metabolites derived from: Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, Azotobacter vinelandii, Pseudomonas flourescens, Pseudomonas putida, Rhizobium japonicum, Pseudomonas stutzeri, Rhizobium leguminosarum, Streptomyces albidoflavus, Streptomyces cellulosae, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Chaetomium globosum, and Trichoderma fgnorum.
  • Applicable when nitrates or sulfates are not required (ie calcium nitrate or magnesium sulfate etc).
  • Most liquid calcium or magnesium sources have very limited compatibility in fertigation or foliar programs. Calmag-Life™ is virtually compatible with everything except chemicals that require acid conditions. Promotes the precision required to build luxury levels of calcium and magnesium in the leaf. Calcium and magnesium are two of 'The Big Four' elements which should be maintained at luxury levels within the plant. Plant levels of calcium and magnesium require boosting in about 80% of leaf tissue analyses.
  • BFA certified organic.

Application Rates:

  • Foliar.
    Broadacre: 3 - 5 litres per hectare. Horticulture: 4 - 10 litres per hectare.
  • Fertigation or Boomspray onto the soil: 15-40 litres per hectare.
  • Liquid injection at planting: 5 - 15 litres per hectare
  • Dilution Rate: 1:30-1:50 minimum.

Note:

  • Shake or stir well before use. Spray tank will require constant agitation to prevent solids from settling out.
  • MMS products involve tiny 5 micron particles which are far too small in themselves to clog filters. However, if they are inadequately diluted or agitated before application, there is a possibility of problems with spray equipment. MMS products should be slowly applied to the spray tank to avoid problems.
  • MMS products are very heavy and every care should be taken when handling these materials to avoid back injury.
  • MMS products will leave a visible residue on leaves and fruit when used as a foliar. Soil applications may be preferable if this residue is commercially inappropriate.
  • Compatible with all other MMS products and most fertilisers including microbe products.
