Nutri-Life Bio-P™

Bacteria which break free insoluble reserves of locked up phosphorus in agricultural soils.

All soils with a history of applied fertilisers contain large amounts of insoluble phosphate, due to the dynamics of the phosphate ion. Nutri-Life Bio-P is designed to solubilise those frozen reserves, utilising specialist Azotobacter species in conjunction with two other phosphate liberators - Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus polymyxa. The CSIRO have estimated that Australian soils contain ten billion dollars of locked up phosphorus.

Benefits:

  • Can solubilise a trickle-feed of 10-15kg of phosphorus per crop cycle.
  • Provides full-season phosphate availability.
  • Speeds the release of rock phosphates.
  • Helps to provide the soluble phosphate needed for nitrogen-fixation.
  • Enhances root growth.
  • Fixes nitrogen from the atmosphere.
  • Non-Toxic to humans, animals or plants and completely natural.
  • No withholding period.
  • BFA applied - organic certification pending.

Packaging:

  • 250ml, 500ml, 1 litre, 5 litre, 20 litre (4 x 5 litres)

Typical Analysis:

  • Minimum microbe counts of 100 million per mL. Contains Azotobacter species, Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus polymyxa.

Application Rates:

Broadacre seed treatment:

  • 100 ml per hectare prior to sowing or 400 ml per hectare using liquid injection.

Plant Cane:

  • Soak plant cane with 500ml per hectare

Transplanting:

  • Treat seedlings with 250ml per hectare at time of planting.

Soil treatment:

  • 500ml - 1 Litre per hectare for broadacre crops.

Orchards:

  • 1 Litre per hectare through irrigation twice per season.

Home Garden:

  • 2ml per Litre of water and apply to soil

Information:

  • If this product is not used immediately after opening, it will have a remaining three-month shelf life if refrigerated. Unopened bottles have a minimum 12-24 months shelf-life from date of manufacture.
  • More phosphate will be released in soils with a good calcium to magnesium ratio.
  • All living microbes should be added to a liquid mix last, ie. after all other products are diluted.
  • any added carbon from crop residues, animal manure, fish fertiliser or molasses will increase phosphate release potential. Note: the inclusion of crop-specific Nutri-Tech Triple Ten fertilisers with molasses, with the Nutri-Life Range, supplies most of the above requirements and boosts microbial performance.
  • It is very important to realise that high pressure rates with spray equipment can damage or destroy beneficial microorganisms. Try no to exceed pressures of 60 psi.
  • Aloe-Tech™ is a champagne microbe food which can boost the action of Nutri-Life Bio-P.
Ferredoxin I from Azotobacter vinelandii. This species binds iron to assist with bio-balancing.
