Nutri-Life 4/20™

A task-specific, freeze-dried blend of 20 beneficial bacteria and 4 predatory fungi.

The Nutri-Life 4/20 microbes include effective cellulose-digesters, general decomposers, mineral-solubilisers, co-factor species, very effective free-living nitrogen-fixers (Azotobacter species), phosphorus-solubilisers (Bacillus megatarium), and predatory fungi. These species are very hardy and flourish in a wide range of soil types and are also used in hydroponic systems to enhance nutrient uptake.

The specific microbes contained in Nutri-life 4/20 are as follows:

  • 3 strains of Bacillus subtilis
  • 2 strains of Bacillus megaterium
  • 2 strains of Azotobacter vinelandii
  • 2 strains of Pseudomonas fluorescens
  • 2 strains of Pseudomonas putida
  • 2 strains of Rhizobium japonicum
  • 2 strains of Pseudomonas stutzeri
  • 2 strains of Rhizobium leguminosarum
  • 2 strains of Streptomyces albidoflavus
  • 2 strains of Streptomyces cellulosae, Saccharomyces cerevisiae
  • 2 strains of Chaetomium globosum, Trichoderma fgnorum and Trichoderma harzianum

Application Rates (refer to label as well)

Brewed Concentrate:

  • Nutri-Life 4/20 must be brewed for 24 - 48 hours in warm, well oxygenated, clean water. Maintaining adequate aeration and keeping the brew in the correct temperature range are vital to achieve the maximum benefit from the subsequent applications of the product.

20 Litres:

  • Heat water to between 25 - 30°C. Add 25 grams of Nutri-Life 4/20 and 150 grams of Nutri-Tech Microbe Food.

200 Litres:

  • Heat water to between 25 - 30°C. Add 250 grams of Nutri-Life 4/20 and 2 kg of Nutri-Tech Microbe Food.

1000 Litres:

  • Heat water to between 25 - 30°C. Add 1.25 kg of Nutri-Life 4/20 and 10 kg of Nutri-Tech Microbe Food to each 1000 litres of clean water.

Life-Force™ Blend:

  • 40 litres of brewed concentrate per tonne.

Soil:

  • 20 - 100 litres of brewed concentrate per hectare.

Foliar:

  • 100 litres of brewed concentrate per hectare.

Seed Treatment:

  • 12 litres of brewed concentrate per tonne of seed.

Hydroponics:

  • 20 litres of brewed, screened concentrate per 1000 litres of nutrient solution. Treat every four weeks for maximum results.

Information:

  • Can also be used to clean up waterways, dams and irrigation sources.
  • Can improve septic tank performance.
  • Is effective when used for leaf, soil and hydroponic applications.
  • Nutri-Life 4/20 is supplied as dry bran granules containing the microorganisms in a dormant state.
  • Has proven effective as a side-dressing.
  • This product requires `brewing' with Nutri-Tech Microbe Food to activate and multiply the species prior to application.
  • Warmth (30°C) and oxygen (> 5 ppm) can help to achieve maximum results.
  • Brewing equipment must be cleaned prior to use. To clean equipment, use Nutri-Gen (hydrogen peroxide) diluted to 1%. Leave standing for fifteen minutes, then drain and flush with clean water.
  • Nutri-Life 4/20 is not compatible with chemicals.
