Dear Members,

With Rural Buying going Public as reported in our April Newsletter, we have been very fortunate to obtain the services of Mick O'Brien to join our Management team. Mick was born in Bega where his family have been involved in the Dairy industry for the past 100 years. He attended Bega High School, on finishing school he was employed as a diesel mechanic with the local Massey Ferguson dealer. In 1983 he joined Sunbeam Rural Division as their service manager, then joined BHP Wire in 1988, where he has held the positions of Territory Sales manager and for the past 10 years has been the QLD/NT Sales Manager.

Mick, or as he is known in the Rural industry as Mick O' Wire, has been associated with the Northern Rivers region for the past 13 years, and has been our Waratah Wire representative for this time.

We welcome Mick into our team where his knowledge and friendliness will be a perfect fit for our business.

With the cold weather prevailing at present , we have good stocks of Lick Blocks, Cottonseed Meal and Hay.

Important Notice to All our customers

As you are probably aware by the computers sitting on the front counters that we are about to go "Point of Sale". To start with from next Wednesday the 18th July all Cash Sale purchases will go via the computer and then soon after we will being doing the 30 day account purchases the same. We ask that you PLEASE be patient with us through this transition period.
