Rural Buying has just taken on the Distribution of Sprinter Rye Grass. Although Sprinter is priced slightly more expensive than Tortilla it has performed well in trials. Sprinter is a Tetrapolid annual Ryegrass selected for exceptional speed of establishment and high winter forage yield. It has outstanding recovery from grazing and is best suited to early Autumn sowing, either alone or with a Clover mix. We currently have good supplies of Clover, Vetch, Lupin and Rye.

After Stock take Sale

After completing a Stock take at the end of March we have decided to have a Sale of some slow moving stock. The stock will be placed on display in the shop and all offers will be considered.

Rapidplas are our Poly Rainwater Tank Suppliers and have informed us of a price REDUCTION on their entire range of Water Tanks. If you are considering installing a tank, NOW would be a good time to order, with a discount price and a short delivery time of 3 weeks. Delivery times have been stretched out to 12/14 weeks in past years for orders placed in Spring & early Summer.

Russian and Purple Garlic are available again but in limited quantities, so be quick.

Nursery News

The Nursery has at the moment good stocks of Avocados in different varieties @ $27.00 each and advanced Macadamia trees 246 & 816 varieties at $15.00 each. We also have in stock a great selection of Leptospermum and different varieties of Native Grasses and as always we have a large selection of Rainforest, Ornamental & Fruit Trees. So come on in and have a browse and remember if it's not in store or you are not sure what it is your looking for, ask to see Ross and he'll do his best to obtain it for you. Don't forget Autumn is a great time to plant!
