TILT®

If you’d like a fungicide with a shorter withholding period, raise your hands. Spray for Blossom Blight or Brown Rot with most fungicides and you need to wait up to seven days before harvesting. And when you consider how much can happen in seven days, it’s going to be a nervous wait. Spray with Tilt, on the other hand, and you can harvest the very next day. Tilt is also rainfast after two hours, giving you even more flexibility. And, of course, no other fungicide out performs Tilt – despite the fact that Tilt can be applied at lower rates than most. All things considered, it’s no surprise growers have been putting their hands up for Tilt for years.

ANTI-RESISTANCE STRATEGY If applying demethylation inhibitors (DMI’s) or dicarboximide fungicides, do not apply more than two consecutive sprays of fungicides from the same group before changing to another group. A post-harvest dip should also be counted as an application. The last Blossom Blight spray and the first pre-harvest Brown Rot spray should be regarded as consecutive applications. The spray program should be considered on a whole orchard basis. |
