GET RESULTS

Omite is effective on Two-spotted mite and European red mite.

With no recorded case of mite resistance, Omite controls mites, which are resistant to other chemicals.

IDEAL FOR IPM

Omite is specific to mites and doesn’t affect bees, predator mites or beneficial insects so is ideal for integrated pest management programs.

TWO-PRONGED ATTACK

Omite kills mites on contact and then keeps on controlling emerging mites for up to two weeks by residual action, giving you powerful control that lasts.

PROTECT CROPS

Omite offers protection for stone fruits, apples, hops, vegetable crops, bananas, strawberries, and ornamental plants and as post harvest protection for pears.

Withholding period is only three to seven days depending on the crop.

USE OMITE EARLY

Early treatment of low level populations is recommended as the most effective means of control. Omite is relatively slowacting but mite activity decreases and feeding ceases after contact.

HIGHLY COMPATIBLE

Omite complements mite ovicides and is compatible with Agral® 600 Wetting Agent and many other products.

  • Insecticides: Imidan®, Pirimor®, Ambush®, Gusathion®, Endosan®.
  • Fungicides: Sumisclex®, Mancozeb.

EASY APPLICATION

Apply Omite as a high volume spray before mites reach damaging levels. Further applications may be necessary later in the season. It is essential to apply the correct rate per hectare.

Ensure complete coverage of the crop plant, paying special attention to achieving proper coverage to the tops and centres of mature fruit trees.

Omite works best in warm to hot weather as it has considerable vapour action, acting as a fumigant to kill mites.

Use Omite in a tank mix as the knockdown miticide in your resistance management strategy.
