Storage and disposal

  • Store D-C-Tron® Plus in its original container
    in a cool, well-ventilated shed
  • Ensure container is tightly sealed - do not leave
    exposed to air or sunlight
  • Thoroughly rinse containers before disposal
  • Empty containers should not be burnt
    If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately
    Using D-C-Tron® Plus


Mixing

  • 1/2 fill tank with water
  • Add required amount of D-C-Tron® Plus (as per label)
  • If used with another pesticide, add pesticide to water first and mix, then add D-C-Tron® Plus
  • Continual agitation is required during spraying Application
  • Apply spray mix to fruit, leaves, twigs and branches
  • Apply to run-off point
  • Ensure surfaces (and pests) are thoroughly covered
  • For pest eradication, apply spray at most vulnerable life stage of pest (usually crawler or larval stage)
  • To prevent egg lays, apply regularly to flush or new growth


Precautions

  • Do not spray if hot weather (>35°C) is imminent or has occurred in the previous 4 days
  • Do not spray in windy conditions
  • Do not spray when soil is dry or when the trees are suffering from moisture stress
  • Do not spray more than the equivalent of six applications of 500ml of oil per 100 litres of water per year
  • Minimise complex tank mixtures
  • Do not apply for at least one month after spraying with sulphur or lime sulphur
