CURVED RACE & CROWD PEN

The Curved Race and Crowd Pen is the fastest and most economical way to work cattle. Once in the crowd pen, cattle will continuously flow through the curved race and into the squeeze chute. You will work your cattle easier than ever before and that means less stress on you and your cattle.

The Crowd Pen consists of four curved panels which make up the half circle. The remainder of the working area consists of four curved outside panels with a vertical inside edge and four curved inside panels with a V-Style configuration. A 3m single gate swings on an axis from an anchored centre post in the crowd pen allowing cattle to move easily into the V-Style curved race.

The entire working area is manufactured from a combination of 40 x 40 and 50 x 50 RHS framework and heavy 2mm steel sheet or recycled rubber lining which make up the smooth sides to prevent injury to cattle. A concrete slab is recommended to mount your curved race. The three metre swing gate operates from the catwalk which is located the entire length of the Crowd Pen and Race.

Another special feature is the safety exit gates located on the outside curve of the race, should an animal get into trouble the outside curved panel can be easily unlatched and swung outwards for safe release of the animal. The underground section of the centre axis pole and all foot plates and hoops are hot dipped galvanised for longevity in a high wear situation. The complete working facility can be manufactured on a 3m, 4m or 5m radius circle.
